Marketing and PR, run on an operating system — not a headcount.

Every agency in India sells you its size. We sell you what not having that size lets us charge — and unlike any of them, we publish the number.

A darkened desk at night: two screens showing muted monitoring dashboards, and a printed page marked in pen in front of the keyboard.

The argument

Size used to be the proof. Now it is just the bill.

Why we rebuilt the firm

An agency's headcount is not a benefit you receive. It is a cost you fund.

For thirty years the logic was honest — more people meant more coverage, more languages, more hours on your account. So agencies counted their staff on their homepages, and clients paid for the count.

Most of what that headcount did is now software. What software cannot do is decide, negotiate, or take responsibility. So that is all we kept people for.

70Per cent of the hours removed by automation. Not one hundred — we are specific about the rest.

What the category says

“700 retained clients.” “1,200 specialists.” “250 storytellers.” “300+ member team.”

Four real homepage claims from four of India's better-known agencies. Every one is a number about them, and a cost to you. We checked eleven firms. Not one published what any of it costs.

What we say instead

We do not have two hundred storytellers. That is the offer, not the apology.

The saving is not ours to keep. It is why our fee ranges are on this website and nobody else's are.

Where the money actually goes

A conventional retainer funds an account team, its management layer, its office and its utilisation gap. You are billed for capacity whether or not your month needed it.

Ours funds the machine that runs your account continuously, the freelance specialists your work actually calls for, and the hours of the person who signs it.

How it runs

A machine does the hours. A person signs the work.

Everything above the gate runs continuously, unattended, across every account. Nothing crosses it without a human decision — and confidential information never reaches the automated side at all.

Machine Person

01Machine

Listen

National, regional and trade media in ten Indian languages, plus search, social and creator output.

02Machine

Interpret

Daily briefs, competitor and sector tracking, sentiment by language and region, crisis triage.

03Machine

Draft

Posts, releases, scripts, investor notes and visuals — built only from approved, published or filed source material.

The gate — a named humanEvery asset is reviewed, approved and attributed before it leaves the firm. No auto-publishing, no unattended sends. Creator deliverables also clear an ASCI disclosure check here.
04Person

Place

Media relations, creator contracting, wire distribution and owned channels. Journalists take calls from people, not systems.

05Machine

Report

Live dashboards, not monthly decks. Coverage, sentiment, reach, spend and cost — reconciled, not estimated.

06Controlled

Record

Approval trails, disclosure logs, expenditure records and a controlled store for confidential information.

What we do not claim. Automation removes roughly seventy per cent of the hours, not the work. Press distribution in India has no programmatic route and is handled manually. Media relationships are built by people. Creative that carries a brand still goes to specialist hands.

Accountability

If a machine drafts it, who is answerable for it?

This is the question the rest of the industry is avoiding, so we will answer it plainly.

A model can draft a press release, a caption, an investor note or a script. It cannot be held responsible for one. Responsibility needs a person with a name, a professional reputation and something to lose — and every asset ProEx releases has one attached to it in writing.

In practice that means a smaller book of clients than a firm our competitors' size would take, because one person can only be accountable for so much. We would rather turn work away than dilute the only thing that makes the model safe.

Delivery is supported by a vetted freelance bench for design, film and media relations, and by colleagues at Naapbooks for execution. Anyone who touches a listed-company account signs the firm's insider-trading code and is recorded in its database before they start.

Fair questions

The things you are about to ask us.

Nobody puts these on a website. They get asked in the second meeting anyway.

Aren't you too small to handle our account?

Probably, if you need thirty people in a room. Most clients do not — they need continuous monitoring, reliable output, and someone senior who answers the phone. We are honest about the ceiling: if your brief genuinely requires a large integrated team across many markets, a network agency is the right answer and we will say so in the first call.

What happens if you are unavailable?

The monitoring, reporting and drafting layers run without anyone present, so nothing stops. Approvals are the single point of dependence, which is why every engagement letter names a backup approver and why we never sign a service level we cannot meet alone. It is a real constraint and we would rather price it in than pretend it away.

Is AI writing everything we publish?

AI produces first drafts, research, translation, transcription and reporting. A person edits and approves everything before release, and the material a model is given is limited to what is already approved, published or filed. Nothing confidential enters an AI system at any point. Where an asset is synthetically generated, it is labelled and provenance-stamped at creation.

Why should we trust published prices? Everyone quotes bespoke.

Because bespoke pricing in this category usually means the fee is set by what the buyer looks like they can pay. Publishing a range removes that. The ranges are wide enough to be honest about scope differences, and everything outside them — third-party spend, production, media — is billed at cost with the handling percentage stated on the invoice.

You work for political clients. Should that worry us?

You should know about it, which is why it is on this website rather than in a footnote. The practice runs under a separate brand with separate teams, systems and approval chains. We act for one client per competitive set, one campaign per constituency. If we take a political mandate during yours, we will tell you before it starts and you may end the engagement without penalty within thirty days. The full disclosure is here.

Can you actually get us coverage, or just content?

Media relations is one of the parts we deliberately keep human, because it is relationship work and no system replaces it. Press distribution in India has no programmatic route at all — every release is placed manually. We will tell you what we can realistically reach for your sector before you sign, not after.

What it costs

We checked eleven firms. Nobody publishes a price.

Indian communications, influencer and investor-relations firms quote bespoke, on request, behind an RFP. Not one shows a fee, a range, or a starting point. So here are ours.

The unglamorous part

The rules apply to creators too. Most agencies act as if they don't.

How we handle it

Creator disclosure, audited

Every creator deliverable is checked on label, placement and duration before approval — including platform-native disclosure tools, which a fixed keyword list would wrongly fail. Under the Consumer Protection Act the CCPA can fine ₹10 lakh, ₹50 lakh on repeat, plus endorsement bans.

AI assets carry their label

Synthetic audio, image or video is labelled and provenance-stamped at the point of creation, to the stricter of the applicable standards. We will not generate a likeness or voice of anyone who is not the client.

And the conflicts nobody else writes down. ProEx Studio, ProEx IR and our public affairs practice run under separate brands inside one entity. We tell every prospect which sectors we are already committed in, act for one client per competitive set, and give you the right to leave without penalty if we take political work during your mandate.
